A New Family Car

We're getting a new family car. After thinking about it, I've decided to get a station wagon. I've been driving a 62 Buick Special for a few weeks now and I really like it. The problem with it is that if (when) it breaks I know I'm going to have a hard time finding parts for it. So I'm looking for another one. The most beautifully styled wagons are from the 1950's thru mid 1960's and they all share the problem of parts availability. Anything built after 1972 or so has smog control to deal with and most of them are ugly. So the key is to find something old enough to be cool and with good road manners, but new enough to drive well and have good parts availability. I'm kind of leaning towards an Olds Vista Cruiser or a Chrysler Town and Country if I can find one I can afford. If I get the Town and Country it will also be a good tow car in case I decide to start drag racing my Barracuda.
